Enrolment


No matter when students enter Box Forest, they are welcomed warmly and receive a full orientation. The high degree of pastoral care offered throughout the college helps to ensure a smooth start to their time with us. The involvement of parents is always encouraged.

Throughout their college years, our students have access to a range of specialist subjects and are given opportunities for leadership and for participation in the performing and visual arts and sports.

Box Forest teachers are caring, energetic and professional. Their classroom work is complemented by a commitment to each student’s emotional and intellectual growth at all levels.


Enrolment Process

Admin processes
  • Within 2 school days:
    • return call to confirm receipt of details / CONFIRM OR REJECT ENROLMENT APPLICATION
    • if successful - timeline / confirm attendance at test -3.30 to 4.30 the next Friday, room B1
  • Within 5 school days:
    • check details with previous school
  • Invitation to attend enrolment meeting – this meeting will take place on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after the placement test. Parent needs to bring child’s birth certificate / passport, medicare information and proof of address. Student needs to bring responses to questions supplied.
  • Student can expect to start school on the following Thursday unless otherwise informed.
Test Arrangements made with Student Manager or Assistant Principal for student to attend test session from 3.30 to 4.30 on the next Friday.
Student should report to the general office for direction.
Enrolment interview On the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after the placement test.
Begin school Thursday after the enrolment meeting
